Who we are
Goldenvine Microgreens is a family owned and operated business based in Calgary, Alberta. Stephan and Jolandie, co-founders and owners, are passionate about farming. No stranger to farming, Stephan was raised on a predominantly sheep farm, with a horticulture branch. Urban farming creates the opportunity to approach farming innovatively and apply sustainable methods to grow excellent, nourishing crops. It brings us joy to provide beautiful microgreens from our grow room to your kitchen table.
Microgreens
Microgreens add beauty to your food. When we eat with all our senses, it becomes an inviting, aesthetically pleasing and full-flavoured culinary experience.
Microgreens are raw food, which means that it is fresh, live and packed with micronutrients. It can contain up to 40 times the nutrients by weight compared to the adult version.
Growing values
We only use non-GMO and organic certified seed. Our growing mediums include organic certified soil and other sustainable growing mediums. Our growing, harvesting and packaging methods contribute to the freshness and high quality of our products. We use innovative absorbent pads inside our packaging that passively reduces humidity inside the container and significantly increases the shelf-life of our products and reduces waste.
